FAQ

What are acoustic panels and how do they work?

Acoustic panels are specially designed materials that absorb sound waves to reduce echo, reverberation, and background noise in a room. They improve speech clarity and overall sound quality without completely blocking sound (soundproofing). Our panels use a dense mineral wool cores wrapped in premium fabrics, achieving excellent NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) ratings up to 0.95.

What’s the difference between sound absorption and soundproofing?

Sound absorption reduces echo and improves acoustics inside a room (what our panels do). Soundproofing blocks sound from traveling between rooms and usually requires decoupling walls, adding mass, and sealing gaps.

How do I know which acoustic products I need?

It depends on your room size, current noise issues, and intended use (home studio, office, restaurant, etc.). As a general rule:

•  Small rooms or home offices: Wall panels + bass traps

•  Larger open spaces: Ceiling baffles + diffusers

•  Recording studios: Full treatment package

Do acoustic panels really work?

Yes. Properly placed panels can reduce reverberation time by 50-80% in most rooms. Many customers report clearer conversations, less listening fatigue, and better recording quality within days of installation.

Are your products fire-rated and safe?

All our acoustic panels meet or exceed Class A fire ratings (ASTM E84). They are safe for commercial and residential use, including schools, offices, and restaurants. We also offer eco-friendly, low-VOC options.

How many panels do I need for my space?

Coverage depends on room volume and desired results. A common starting point is 20-30% wall/ceiling coverage for noticeable improvement. Use our room calculator tool (coming soon) or send us your room dimensions during a consultation for a personalized recommendation.

Can I install acoustic panels myself?

Yes! Most of our panels are lightweight and easy to install with included hardware. For larger or commercial projects, we can recommend professional installers.
